KwaZulu-Natal is an enviable destination for Birders of all skills and levels of expertise as the Province has many Regions where your favourite or 'lifer' bird can be spotted. We are also very fortunate to have many very experienced and expert Birding Guides to give the connoisseur birding fanatic a fulfilling experience. KwaZulu-Natal also has many endemic species which has always been a wonderful incentive for visitors to enjoy spotting birds in this Province.

This two day tour out of Durban sets off early and heads north into Zululand and into the Umfolozi/Hluhluwe Game Park, arriving there after a couple of hours. We spend the rest of the day searching for white rhino, elephant, giraffe, zebra and many various antelope. It is always a good place to search for some of the big birds such as Bateleur Eagle and the Whitebacked Vulture. That evening we have the option of staying in the Park at one of the bushcamps or at the main hutted camp. Alternatively we could stay at one of the Lodges just outside the Park. The next day, after an early morning game drive, we travel to St.Lucia Estuary for a two hour boat cruise on the Estuary. Here we will see crocodiles and hippos as well as a wide variety of wetland birds. We return to Durban in the late afternoon.

This is the real way to enjoy the bushveld! For those who want to get really close to nature for the next two days, we travel to the Hluhluwe/Umfolozi Game Park in Zululand and book into our own special bush camp. After settling in, our trained Park Guide will take us on the first of two bush trails lasting about 3 hours. On our return to Camp, we can enjoy a relaxing evening around the fire while a barbecue supper in the open is prepared for you! The next morning your Guide will take you on an early morning trail to see what you can see! Breakfast awaits you on your return! We pack up after breakfast and return to Durban in the late afternoon, having spent the rest of the day touring the Park.

It is a luxurious and all inclusive tour that takes us right into the heart of Zululand, where we are cared for at a sumptuous Private Game Reserve. Morning and afternoon game drives and exclusive sightings of the Big 5 in Wild life are almost assured. Your highly trained and qualified Game Guides take you into the bush in specially equipped open safari vehicles for close up sightings of lion, cheetah, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino. We return to Durban at the end of two exciting days.
